Matt’s Professional Background:
Matt is a true Southern Gentleman raised on the principles of authenticity, courtesy, and respect for others. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1999 (Marketing & Business Management), Matt packed his car and pioneered West to pursue his dreams. Just two weeks after arriving in Southern California, with temporary residency in Doheny State Beach Campground, he was hired by Universal Studios to co-pioneer the first Interactive Marketing team for their global theme park and resort division. While at Universal, Matt played a key role in creating and managing a sixty million dollar online business while serving as a divisional liaison with Motion Pictures, TV, Home Entertainment, and other affiliated business units.
After a few years in the entertainment industry, Matt transitioned into global product development, marketing, and distribution to national retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, and other leading grocery and drug store companies. Matt’s products can still be seen on store shelves today.
In 2005, Matt returned to Virginia to help reinvent his family's DISH Network service and home entertainment business that employed approximately 100 people across 18 counties. It was during this time that Matt and his wife purchased their first home – Country home on 5 Acres. Unfortunately, the level of agent representation they received left them feeling lost and underwhelmed. While Matt was working on the property, reflecting on his home buying experience, he knew the process could have been better. It was that moment when he decided to relocate back to California and commit the rest of his professional career to selling real estate…the right way.
Matt successfully launched his real estate business in 2015. Combining his analytic knowledge of the ever-changing housing market with his strategy-based business approach and action-oriented mindset, Matt has since helped many buyers find and secure their dream homes. He has also leveraged his vast knowledge of home construction to identify potential problems/cover-ups while helping buyers visualize future property improvements or expansions.
In addition to finding success with his buyers, Matt has also emerged as a leading listing agent across Orange County and surrounding areas. His seller relationships often start months or years before planting a sign in the yard. He guides them through the entire home preparation process and decluttering process. His listings are showcased to stand out over other listings. His pricing, marketing, and negotiation strategies have resulted in countless historically high sales prices.

Matt has planted permanent roots in South Orange County with his wife and two teenage children. Matt is a strong community advocate and has volunteered with great organizations such as Boy Scouts and Tony Hawk’s Skatepark Project.
